House [[officers]] are elected at the start of each contract period and their [[work]] in running the house counts as their house labor. Elections take place by default at the start of the Fall contract period for Fall and Winter and the start of Spring-Summer for Spring-Summer, but elections also take place whenever there is a vacancy in one of the essential positions. If you want to run in one of these elections, submit a statement to the [[President]] and plan to attend the House Meeting so you can answer your housemates questions.
