Main Page
Welcome to the Escher Internal Wiki!
With 100+ members we are the largest Inter-Cooperative Council (ICC) cooperative house. What is a cooperative? A co-op is an organization owned and operated for the benefit of those using its services. As Escher house members, we are shareholders at the Inter-Cooperative Council. We are tenants AND owners. More on co-ops here.
Escher Cooperative House is specifically known for its diverse population of students from around the world as well as non-students. It has a unique living situation with 9 suites within its U-shaped building where 16-20 co-opers live with their own living room and kitchen as common spaces. In 1968, it became the first non-profit student housing created with a HUD Loan. You can learn more about our history here.
