Operation Instructions
- The internal IP address of the printer is 10.0.0.43. If you are connected to the escher.icc.coop router, then you should be able to type that into your browser and get onto the upload portal of the printer.
- The print page can be found on 10.0.0.43/wcd/print.xml.
- The accepted file types, if you upload through this website, are PDF, TIFF, PS, PCL, JPEG, TXT, and XPS.
- Basically, if you are printing a paper, convert it to PDF and then upload it on this site.
- The printer can be discovered through Mac, Windows, and Linux clients on 10.0.0.43 as a network printer, depending on how nice it is to you. This would allow you to print from your system without needing the website.
- You can also use a USB stick and plug it directly into the printer.
Troubleshooting
If the printer is online but printing doesn't work:
- Go to the printer homepage at 10.0.0.43. Check if the paper in all three trays is empty or whether the toner is critically low. This can prevent printing.
If the printer appears offline:
- Go to the study room. Unplug the printer and the ethernet cable that it is connected to. Wait thirty seconds and plug them back in. Check if this has resolved the problem.
- If this doesn't work, ask the Tech Team for further help.
