Updated to match new guest policy and ICC policy rewrite
The Guest Policy ICC’s general guest policy can be found in the[https://docspolicy.googleicc.comcoop/documentindex.php/u/4/d/1jDMF9yDc_RRIKP4mNqlXKZHvgLX307uxrvUTnzw9KYE/mobilebasic?urp=gmail_link Section 12.5 of the ICC's Standing RulesOperations_Management_Committee_(OpsCom)#HP3:_House_Officer_Evaluations OpsCom Policy]. However, these Standing Rules need to be rewritten to be more clear, so for now, we as a house have interpreted them the way we have been practicing them and in set a way that best supports the officer team more specific guest policy, which can be found in tracking guestsour [https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/0BzfIIXgFbHwNVFpaNXVqR3V5SFU?resourcekey=0-FvCxLoxuoeSkSd6Rk8M29w standing rules].<br>
Here is a condensed version of that interpretationpolicy:
* A guest, or a non-house member, can stay overnight for a maximum of 2 weeks with a house member as their host.
* Guests can stay in their host's room, common rooms, or, at the officers' discretion, an empty room.
** Note: Empty rooms are extremely uncommon not available during the academic yearFall/Winter terms.** Guests are '''never''' allowed to possess a key for a room.* The President or another officer should be informed of a guest's stay via emailthe [https://docs.google. This email should include the dates of the stay and any other pertinent informationcom/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdR18qY1t3C_0YB2uToMGtoqcbHYqECXL8tZ5CzA8KgYmflOQ/viewform?usp=dialog guest form]. This is important for tracking purposes on our roster.house, and is required by the guest policy
* Guests are allowed to use toiletries, hand soap, laundry detergent, and other similar amenities.
* '''Guests are generally not allowed to consume guff food.''' This may be Members immediately impacted by the presence of a change to our unspoken rules guest, such as roommates or suitemates, (as if the official guest policy does not specify one way or anotheris staying in a suite common space)must be notified of the guest’s stay, but it is out including length, location, and dates of a valid concern for our food supply. Over stay; the summer we have had to raise our food charges guest’s name; and have run into shortagesthe host’s name. While not entirely enforceable just as it isn't entirely enforceable for daytime guests, it is like other house rules that rely * Guests may be placed on integrity[https://docs. An example is not taking unclaimed leftovers until after 12pmgoogle. Similarly I ask you to be considerate of your housemates with the food you consume. *If you consume extra dessert one nightcom/document/d/1-KaEHGl6v6uGMMUPUduARxwd9Q_x1udBpnuJEiz5LbY/edit?usp=drivesdk Escher’s Guest Blacklist] by house officers upon member petition, on a night where that dessert is preventing them from staying in abundance, I don't see a problem with giving your extras to our house as a guest instead. If one night you skip dinner and the next you have a friend over, I don't see a problem with having them join you at dinner. As you can see* Guests are generally disallowed from eating house food without payment, I am asking that you use your best judgement here and do what is reasonable and just. To reiterate, guests though they are generally not allowed to consume eat suite-level guff food.* Guests may be allowed to access parking, at the discretion of the current officer team. (the secretary is usually responsible for parking issues)
