I can't make my work shift this week. How do I avoid a fine?
Read the Member's Guide to Work at Escher! It is crucial that you understand how to request a swap and under what circumstances you may submit for a work release. As a reminder, when you filled out the Work Survey you checked a box stating you read and understood that document. Make sure this is true so you don't rack up any fines!
I can make my kitchen shift, but I do have a cough. Should I go?
No. If you have new symptoms, it is a health code violation to work in an industrial kitchen. Please let the Kitchen Manager and your shift leader know of your absence as soon as possible and you will be excused from your shift.
Can I really change anything I want here by asking the house to vote?
Where can I store my stuff over the summer?
The Trunk Room provides deep storage to members in accordance with our Trunk Room policy (see the standing rules. This large room has enough space for a typical member to store all their belongings, which enables a convenient pattern: move everything to the trunk room in May when school lets out, then return to Escher in the fall and move everything back in. It is secured by a door code known only by house officers, so if you need access, reach out on in the #ask-an-officer thread on the Discord server.
What is EscherFest?
EscherFest is a music festival hosted by our coop (almost) every semester. Organized by the social chair, EscherFest brings popular local bands to the comfort of our Rec Room. This event is open to all, so feel free to invite your friends!
