House Roster
The House Roster is Escher's internal means of keeping track of who's at Escher. Because contracts are signed at the ICC (through the ICC Director of Housing Services, but move-ins are ultimately performed by Interim Managers and the Vice President of Relations, communication is vital for ensuring that everyone ends up with a room (and also the correct room) and on the email list.
How it works
The ICC uses Rent Manager to manage housing assignments and contract signing. The President has access to this system, and can run an audit to get a report of who has signed a contract for Escher. Information includes the contract dates, new member name, and email. The President and VP of Relations organize this information into a Google spreadsheet. As the VP of Relations performs move-ins, they note who has moved in. There are also typically room swaps and people who decide not to move in after signing a contract. All adjustments must ultimately be reflected in the roster.
