Guff

Guff refers to anything that may be used or consumed by any members. Its definition and etymology is generally unknown and therefore open to debate and controversy. Referenced in Rowan's Pyrex Pining emails.

Examples

• Guff food includes all food in the O'Keeffe and Ren dining rooms (saved meals are not guff until noon the day after they were prepared). If a member leaves food somewhere for anyone to take (e.g. candy), that counts too.
• Occasionally there are unused guff bikes in the bike room that have been donated or abandoned by members. These will be noted after work holiday, please do not assume any bike is guff before then.
• We have guff laundry detergent.
• The shelves in the laundry room near the ironing boards contain guff items that have been donated by members.
