Suites
The house is composed of nine suites: Trantor Mir, Walden, Sinclair, Bag End, Zapata, Valhalla, Russell, Karma, and Falstaff.
Suite amenities
Each suite houses fifteen to twenty members (but fewer from May to August, when regular school is out at the University of Michigan). Each room is a large single meant for a single occupant, a double that can house two members, or a small single for a single occupant. Along with residents' rooms, each suite has a small kitchen and a lounge with a television.

Significance of names
Each suite's name is related to a historical figure or literary work
- Trantor Mir is inspired by placed in Isaac Asimov's Foundation series, Trantor being the capital planet of the Galactic Empire.
- Walden is named after Thoreau's Walden
- Sinclair is named for poet John Sinclair
- Bag End is named for the home of Bilbo Baggins in The Lord of the Rings
- Zapata is named after Mexican revolutionary Emiliano Zapata
- Valhalla is named after the mythological hall of slain heroes
- Russell is named after Bertrand Russell
- Karma is pretty self-explanatory
- Falstaff is named after Shakespeare's fictional character Sir John Falstaff
