NEWS:
- Fall Work Holiday weekend is October 22-23 this year! Once the officers post sign-up sheets outside the laundry room you will sign up for a 4-hour shift. If you can’t make it, email the Work Manager ASAP. We hope you can be there though - after all, there’ll be plenty of pizza & donuts & partying to celebrate our collective efforts!
- Have a project you’d like to do to improve the house? Submit your Work Holiday proposals 24 hours before our next House Meeting on Wednesday October 5th at 6:30pm (with an identical forum the following day at 6:30pm).
- Fun fact: The reason for having 2 House Meetings with the same agenda back-to-back is to allow flexibility for your schedule. It is also because there is no common space large enough to accommodate all our members at once.
- Make sure you’re following the city fire code by keeping our hallways clear!
With roughly 165 members, we are the largest Inter-Cooperative Council (ICC) cooperative house. Escher Cooperative House is specifically known for its diverse population of local student, international students & visitors, and non-students. It has a unique living situation with 9 suites arranged in a U-shaped building. Each suite has 16-20 co-opers, along with its own lounge and kitchen. You can learn more about co-ops here, and check out Escher's history here.
