Social Chair

The Social Chair organizes house social events within Escher and with other houses, organizes community service activities, and encourages members to plan any social activities they are interested in.

Responsibilities

1. Responsible to President and House.
2. Organizes large House social events, at least two per semester.
3. Organizes small weekly social events (discussion group, cookie nights, movie nights, etc.).
4. Organizes House community service projects, at least one per semester (e.g. an afternoon serving Habitat for Humanity, Food Gatherers, Food Bank, etc.)
5. Communicates with other ICC Houses in the planning of social events.
6. Actively encourages and facilitates activities by interested groups to plan activities and invite other members to participate.
7. Works with Education Chair to encourage members to gain as much as possible from their unique international/cultural community with activities and education.
8. Works with Education Chair in reaching out to any Escher alumni.
