The General Pop Account(s)
By default you can only access this wiki on Escher WiFi. If you click the URL for the first time while on Escher WiFi, you will be 'logged in' to the account named 'Escher'. The Generic Escherite account subverts having to use Escher Wifi. It was created to allow future members and Escheritus alike to access this wiki from any network. The login is below. Username: guffwiki Password: gufflove If you want your own account to make edits (which will be immortalized under your chosen username), see the instructions below.
Steps to Making Your Own Account:
- You must be on Escher WiFi and on a computer. The computer piece is because I've found on my phone it won't let me make an account after I've already logged into the Generic Escherite one. It could be a me-specific issue though, so feel free to try this method on different devices and change this is I'm wrong.
- Click here.
- Type your username and password. I'd enter your email too in case you need a password reset, but that is optional.
- Log out of the Escher or Generic Escherite user account and into yours!
What to edit
I suggest mainly editing out-of-date information and adding pages as they become relevant. However, some have also found it humorous to add references to inside (and outside) jokes. While I would not discourage this I do encourage you to consider how it could potentially clog up pages with useful information. My suggestion would be to create new pages for these inside jokes and only reference them sparsely on pages that are meant to be more informational. However, since this is a communal website, I cannot stop you from making whatever changes you like!
