=====LBGTQ Workshop=====
This workshop covered the basics of what LBGTQ represents, and what sex, gender, and sexual orientation all actually mean.
What does LBGTQ stand for?
====Sex====
A classification based on reproductive biology. Assigned at birth most often based on the appearance of an infant's genitalia. Termed as female, male, or intersex.
====Gender====
One's internal sense of self; not inherently connected to physical anatomy. One's gender identity can be the same or different than the sex assigned at birth. Often broken down into Gender Identity and Gender Expression.
**Gender Identity**: Woman, man, transgender, genderqueer, cisgender, etc.
**Gender Expression**: Feminine, masculine, androgynous. ====Sexual Orientation====
A person's emotional, physical and sexual attraction and the expression of that attraction with other individuals. Termed as bisexual, same-gender loving, lesbian, gay, fluid, queer, straight, etc.
