The Democratic Education Chair, formerly (and often colloquially) the Education Chair, organizes educational events, provides an informational packet to incoming members, and seeks to empower members via improved knowledge of the house.

Responsibilities

Responsible to President and House.

  1. Organizes House educational events, at least two per semester.
  2. Responsible for educating the House about cultural awareness.
  3. Provides informational packet for all incoming members.
  4. Actively identify areas of improvement for member knowledge of governance and house logistics and report to the Educational Committee, House and Officers.
  5. Works with Social Chair in reaching out to any Escher alumni.
  6. Serves as a contact with Educational Committee.
