Pinecones is the co-oper way to say "kudos!" For example, suppose a member named Arty Guffman goes above and beyond and unclogs a toilet they didn't even clog in the first place. Another member might raise their hand during the pinecones portion of the next suite meeting or house meeting and say "Pinecones to Arty Guffman for unclogging the shitter!" or something like that.

Why pinecones?

The National Cooperative Business Association uses a twin pines symbol to represent the cooperative movement.
