The house is composed of nine suites: Trantor Mir, Walden, Sinclair, Bag End, Zapata, Valhalla, Russell, Karma, and Falstaff. While all suites have the same basic amenities, each has its own twists and vibe. Perhaps the most significant difference between suites is proximity to basement common areas like the main kitchens and Rec Room. For example, Bag End and Falstaff members are less likely to run into each other at dinner since Bag End is closer to the O'Keeffe kitchen while Falstaff is closer to the Renaissance kitchen.
Suite amenities
Each suite houses fifteen to twenty members (but fewer from May to August, when regular school is out at the University of Michigan). Each room is either a large single meant for a single occupant, a double that can house two members, or a small single for a single occupant. Along with residents' rooms, each suite has a small kitchen and a lounge with a television.
Suite organization
Each suite is led by a Suite Manager, who ensures suite chores and bathroom cleanings are done. The Suite Manager hosts occasional meetings to keep suite members informed of changes in house policies, to vote on suite guests, and to vote on changes to suite rules such as quiet hours.
