A proposal is a request that the house grant labor, funds, space, or approval of a project/policy that a member, or group of members, wish to accomplish for the house, with the house. Proposals can also be submitted to amend the Constitution, though this process is more arduous. While not outlined here, you can learn how to go about amending the Constitution by reading - you guessed it - our Constitution!
How to write a proposal
Project start date, end date (after which no funds or labor will be contributed), those responsible, and specific line item costs should be on a proposal. The background and intent for the proposal is also a wise move.
More will be added to this page in the future, so thanks for your patience!

“Hi house!
Some of us would like to purchase at least 6 new inner tubes as our current ones all have holes and extensive duct tape (they don't hold air long enough, we tried last year). Tubing down the Huron river is a fun group activity in the summer and we went on multiple trips last year while borrowing tubes from a member (they have since moved out). The current rate for a 2 hour tube rental per person is $10, the ones we've picked out would be paid off after 2 uses (currently priced at roughly $120 for 6 tubes).
Please vote yes so we can have tubes by the time the water is warm!
